                                       DUBLIN

We stayed at a very nice small hotel very well situated in Dublin. Wonderful for walking to most sites.

The first day we visited the Guinness Brewery where we had a self-guided tour.  The tour ended on the top floor with great views of the city and were able to have a taste of the Guinness.

Then on to a tour of the jail, which is famous for reforming the conditions of the jail during a time of Ireland's movement for independence.

Yesterday we took a train out to a small town where there is an old castle. Very bucolic setting and a nice break from the city of Dublin.

We've had many good meals and one in a building that used to be a church and is now named "The Church" . We had dinner in the gallery.

Today we are on a train out to town called Sligo to meet up with the group, get fitted for our bikes,
Get the overview of tomorrow's ride and have dinner.  Weather overcast and rain expected.
We have every piece of clothing known to man to keep us from getting wet and hopefully....staying warm.
